I think no matter what people are going to be a statistic when people are presenting statistics about people.
Within 4 years, only 64% of students at private colleges graduated, while only 37% at public universities graduated. If neither of their parents went to college, only 27% graduated within 4 years. The failure is permanent; the debt feels like forever. Don't be a statistic.

I get it Stefan, but there is no other institution if you want to educate yourself. You could obviously read all the stuff at home by yourself and become an entrepreneur, but let's face it - university is still the best way to educate yourself - and where I'm from college is free

Germany/Switzerland. I pay a fixed fee per semester and it's really not much, it's basically nothing for me/for 90% of middle class average students.

I said free because in Germany it is free, but i chose to go to Switzerland due to other more impactful reasons, but the money i spend on my college fee is what some people spend on e.g. cigarettes. I believe that's a fair price for the highest education/standard you can get.

Not worth, I feel bad for US citizens who wan't to go to college. People are being hindered to educate themselves. Education is the highest virtue humanity has to grow and advance on an evolutionary basis - it shouldn't cost money.

That's pretty ridiculous. Hopefully you/they will find their way - Obivously sending them to another country might not be the best or easiest option anyways - but it's something to consider at least. I don't know how old she/he is, but times changes anyways. And it will.

Not every college in Germany has fees - and even the ones that have fees - it's not worth mentioning them because it's literally not more than 300 bucks per semester (6 months) - Come one - who can't pay that. It's not worth arguing about it - it's not even close to the US/UK
