Hahaha I'm laughing at the insanity of people in their need for equality they have to lower the standard so they can be equal. Just like the American education system.

I agree, there are just some things Men do better with physically than Women, and same the other way where Women domthings better than Men. We don’t have to be equal in such things as this.
-
With all due respect my husband was “charged” to lead my Babies but he couldn’t give birth to them. Some things men can’t do, some things women can’t do. It’s just human nature.

Are we really going to get our enemies to lower their endurance tests just so we can get women "qualified". When an officer can't hack it and endangers the lives of the men under them, it doesn't end well.
-
Women trying out..I have no problem with, BUT... they need to qualify just like the men. Not all men qualify or pass. This is like lowering the gpa's that aided in dumbing down kids.
-
God wired men and women differently, gave them a different role and skillset. People need to recognized God's design and accept what they are and be glad for it.
-
Totally agree!

Should be merit-based not sex-based. Lowering standards for demographics never works. That’s why I’m not real big on affirmative-action.. everyone should be judged by performance not advantaged by sex or color. IMO
-
A woman experiencing her monthly cycle in a combat zone isn't about merit, but basic biology, field hygiene, etc. In combat, regardless of your assignment, you can be a grunt instantly when things go wrong. Some Medal of Honor winners were cooks and clerks.
-
dang...as a senior,I totally forgot about our cycles! There are definitely areas in the Military where women do not belong. COMMON SENSE needs to be implemented. I'd be p'd off if my Marine lost his life bc of "cramps" or hygiene issues. - 1 more reply

If a USMC infantry officer does not have the mental and physical strength to lead from the from the front, he or she has no business leading America’s most prized possession, The United States Marines. The weak will be weeded out by qualified Officers and SNCOs.

The females I served with (in the Army & Navy) would have been FURIOUS if standards were lowered for THEM. Adaptation would have been insult. I retired in 2008.

Im sorry, this is BS! The Marines should NOT lower the standard of Boot camp requirements. If a women can't hang with the Big guns, get OFF the battlefield!

You need diversity university. From now on, war zones should be handicap accessible, breast feed rooms every 2 miles, cease fire when baby cries for feeding, hormone injection rooms, & dust free bombs for those affected with allergies. Gun free zones...only knife fights allowed
-
Gluten-free and vegan meals ready to eat, stopping the fighting 5 times a day to pray to Mecca, grievance counselors to address any micro-aggressions received from the enemy, holistic togetherness workshops and peace marches by the troops against our own side's warmongering etc
-
OMGosh
You are boss
You need to rewrite the Geneva convention to the new Diversified Liberal War & Order Convention. Designed for the military you serve under. it will never exclude anyone from their right to fight (or hug) . Sunscreen must be provided for nudists.
