that may be true, but what he's referring to is what liberals want in THIS country, which is for guns to be possessed only by gov't, police and military. That would be fine in a perfect utopia. But in reality, criminals and the mentally ill will always get there hands on them.
There is no such thing as gun control. There is only the centralization of gun ownership in the hands of a small political elite and their minions.

you're good man. What worries me is when libs seize back gov't in '20 or '24. They have the mindset of murderous dictators from the past. Total gun confiscation will be the goal. And w/ their violent hatred for differing opinions, history may repeat (Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Castro)

The 'political elite' don't carry guns in the UK and we're fine with a few police and the armed forces being the only ones carrying them. We aren't slaves as a result and we DEFINITELY have a lot less gun crime/deaths than the US.
