So there should be no police force at all as laws cannot be representative of the people’s will? The only way to fight unjust laws is with guns? Or are u preparing for civil war? Government = monopoly on violence. Fears of violent uprising ENCOURAGES gvmnts to use violence.
If you are in favor of gun control, you’re very pro-gun; you just believe that only the Government (which is always so reliable, honest, moral and virtuous) should be allowed to have guns.

It's hard to trust someone who insists that our mistrusted government mustn't take our guns, but who isn't vocally opposed to the government themselves having a standing police force with guns.

So what do you suggest then Stefan? The left goes on about gun control and the right harping on about no gun control, yet still this happens in the US. Any preventative ideas instead of fighting the left about gun control? many kids die whilst the politics goes back and forth.

Surely there is a balance between Military Control ( ‘ Blue Thunder’)and urban, Wild West free - for - all -which allows for more children to die! Controlling the TYPE of weapon to single fire only. Licenced or unlicensed. Would surely - reduce volume of deaths.

wrong. if people are in favor of gun control, we're believe that gun purchase should be strict and limited. take example of Japan, where they have gun control and very little case of shooting and gun related crime (homicide, suicide etc).

@Barbara4u2 Why not give the guns out for free then? Like for poor people, who probably need them the most, eh? Everyone would feel a lot safer and the US.
