What it means is, that we will have failure of the dollar at some point and need a monetary reset akin to the failure of the Confederacy. I think Bitcoin and similar may just hold the answer.

I’m going to say hard pass on electronic currency. Although, sadly it could go that way...

There is an intrinsic value to it. Just moving it from country to country avoids huge banking costs. But the ability to move money from anon wallets from one to another and be your own bank democratizes banking. Having a set limit on how much can be created is like gold.
