Just held a mentoring session w/some of my subordinates, male and female, and explained just this. Watch one-on-one interaction, you may set yourself up for an allegation. We live in different times now, for better or worse. Military life has changed greatly over the last 20 yrs.

My wife (european, speaks 4 languages) had quite the insight. Political correctness is making people LIE. It took me few seconds to think it through, but she is right. People now rarely tell you what they think or believe. They tell you what they THINK you believe.
