        Hmm. A lot depends on what you mean by "more educated." It is beyond dispute that they spend more time in institutions which purport to educate. But that is not the same thing at all.

        Maybe this is due to the fact that there is more demand for plumbers and electricians than there is for people with liberal arts degrees. At some point everyone needs a plumber. When was the last time you heard someone say "I need a liberal artist?"
