You should instantly start posting socialist propaganda!!! Maybe they will turn back down.

You need a Photo ID to login to FACEBOOK, but you don’t need a photo ID to Vote??? What?? A little ironic for those “progressives” at Facebook!!

Facebook told me one of my little company computers had possible malware and they wanted to use their skin to clean it and review it and then I realize they also wanted to have access to all my other files on there. crazy

You were smarter than me, Amy. I fell for it in 2016, and it killed my real anti-virus program. I was still repairing stuff on my PC a few weeks ago as a direct result of this—two years later.http://jackyan.com/blog/2016/01/when-facebook-forces-you-to-download-their-anti-malware-your-own-antivirus-gets-knocked-out/ …

And mine was on a Mac, too.
-
I have been hearing from more Mac users about this—when I got it, I was able to switch to a Mac and get back in, but it seems Facebook blocks everyone now—Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
-
Fortunately it is on our least used Mac notebook. The message hasn’t appears on our other Macs, which have heavy duty antivirus-anti-malware program. Will need to get a good program for this baby Mac!

-
If you don’t use it much, I suggest waiting a few days (three is the standard, it seems) and trying again. If you can get in, then there’s nothing wrong with your Mac. Then you can safely put on the anti-virus program.

Thanks!

My pleasure! Ever since I got stung in 2016 I don’t want others falling into the same trap …
