It is actually amazing covert actions and policies of the FBI over the decades! Have you read up on the Martin Luther King assassination and the lawsuit the family won against the US government?

Disagree. The FBI had a well deserved reputation for being the light shown on the criminal underbelly. Never would say they're perfect but always upholding high standards. This shift is not recent but can be resolved.
