Music used to be subversive and revolutionary, riotously undermining political power. Now it mindlessly cheers an ancient corrupt politician squinting at a fantasy book. The 2018 Grammys. The day the music died.

Music died in the 90's when all genres became blackened.

Sorry homie, but music, as in what most people know as “mainstream or #popmusic,” is not music. Not since #the90s, when real music resurrected a social conscious for a time, has there been such influential music. Otherwise, one must look to #the60sand70s for poetic justice.

90% of all music is worthless drivel. When we think back to old music, we're really just thinking of the 10% that is worth remembering. Although, I can certainly agree with you that the current wave of utter BS flowing from the media is making that 10% a lot harder to find...

People who walked into traffic playing Pokemon go had a higher IQ than most of the grammy audience.

Speaking of 2018 Grammys!!! Anyone notice, these tunes being played on radio today no longer have any melodies as in years past???

Social Distortion still puts out good music, they are getting older so their music has mellowed. It's still good.

Hollywood & the entertainment industry have completely shifted to the far LEFT with no respect for anyone who isn't supporting their agenda. I no longer watch regular TV. Subversive messages in TV plots, insulting award shows, etc. All insult my intelligence.

You can't generalize when it comes to music. Although we can agree that the mainstream music industry is bound to have political tendencies that can almost be described as propaganda.
