I'm white, when I was a kid, my parents called me "little monkey", sometimes "seven monkeys". That would have been a totally appropriate shirt for me to wear. The only reason people have a problem with it is because the child is black. Who's the racist?

Of course the mother was not upset all she cares about is MONEY. I do not see how any black parent with intelligence can be happy their child is wearing clothing with the word monkey on it. This mother obviously believes MONEY more important than being a good parent.
