There should be outrage over "public servants"who have no kids. They have nothing to lose and are carelessly selfish in most of what they do.They're missteps have zero affect in their future because they don't have family invested in it.Perfect example of that is @JerryBrownGov

why do you assume they don’t have families? not having kids doesn’t mean you don’t have parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, or even godchildren speaking of careless missteps, it’s spelled “their” ;)

That's not the same and everybody who has kids understands this. Just like my misspelling "misstep" is not the same as Jerry Brown's missteps and everybody who's not a kid understands this

I strongly disagree that having kids is necessary to learning to be virtuous and unselfish. It helps, but it's not the only way. It's also not a guarantee: MANY parents really should not be parents.

How else do you explain the bullet train mess and irreversible debt that Brown is leaving us and our next few generations with? It's 1000% not needed or wanted. Yet he persist in getting this done.only logical answer is he's getting his and doesnt have to worry about his kids

Interesting point. I remember having no kids. I am a completely different person now. I worry about the future for my kids not for me, and I worry in a longer perspective since they will hopefully live long after I am gone.
