Right, I only saw bad marriages growing up, and bad abusive men. I met some nice men but for some reason I would push them away. Maybe it was me being shallow, or some combination of not actually dating enough and meeting an appropriate partner. Growing up with unhealthy template

I haven't watched it yet but being 40, childless, single and in debt lol! I imagine many other women have some combination of this, or they are single mothers trying to do it all.

It definitely has to do with the destroying of clear gender roles, making women think we need to be independent of men, that we can have sex like men, be providers like men maybe some women can but not most.

Or it is feminism that actually make them unhappy, after all they are always telling these women that they are somehow oppressed and all the good thing they are not getting, when in fact they omit the bad things they are not getting.

Yea I have watched the talks about why women/girls tend to choose bad boys. I agree that while there might a default setting to choose douchebags, I think not having guidance from elders, no dad, child abuse really amplifies this.

Yea, if you were not properly socialized by the time you are 4 years old, I guess you will be an antisocial. I do think that some people if you get to them early enough, can be helped to at least improve their future.
