My daddy has said that very thing to me since I was a kid. And even now at my age, he still says this when I feel the burden of the world on my shoulders.

Like if your mother encourages you to do meth but your friends are like quite that shit! I think you're gonna start trusting your friends more than your mother.
-
unless you just really like that crystal.
-
Of course if that's the case then sooner than later, your gonna start lighting up those sherms and frying your perm.
-
Then after all that hardcore PCP use you'll get one of those homeless dogs, that you kinda forget to feed for a long time because you fried yourself so hard with that sherm, that it just runs away, but unable to accept your maltreatments consequences you just hallucinate anew dog

Nope. Trust in self or others accumulates from good responses to good decisions. Trust is a ratio kind of thing. It builds over time. If someone is behaving well to your bad decision, they and you are about to cheat each other, or maybe they're naive.
-
I think by 'good response' he doesn't mean condone the poor decision and pretend it was good, but act in a helpful and positive manner after someone has made a mistake.
-
Thanks. I see.
