You live to be 93, it’s likely your friends have passed. It’s more than possible that you are a widow and have no family. Her age should not be treated different from a child. Dementia in seniors creates fear, anxiety & a lack of cooperation. Poor lady.

Add to that, most of today's adults don't want to deal with their aged loved ones AT ALL. My mother took care of my grandmother during her last two years battling with cancer. During that time, she barely slept 1 or 2 hours every night. 1/

My mother made a huge sacrifice for her. This kind of sacrifices aren't seen anymore. Let the Care Center deal with the elderly. In other countries, let them die in the streets. This is something that isn't talk about it and is very important. 2/

We like to talk a lot here in Twitter about how the traditional family is under attack by leftists and big government, but fail to realize that we are willing to sever ties with our older ones. Then we shouldn't complain when the rest falls apart. 3/

I don't oppose the notion that some situations are hard to handle on our own and we should require qualified help. But we should be aware about how the elderly are being left alone. 3/

And if we have to talk about bad decisions, just think about the new generations more focused on themselves, even refusing to have kids because it's "not moral". They are in for a big surprise. 4/

No, Stefan I don't think that's fair. Outlive family, that alone can do it. The issue here is you cannot evict someone from an 'assisted living' facility without them having a place to go and anyone that age or needing that assistance CANNOT help themselves.
