diversity might be great if it works towards a common goal, not pull in different directions.

it all rather depends on what the goals are I suppose. If it is to destroy the country then none.

The best answer I have had to that question so far is curry. If we are putting our countries at risk because of curry then we really need to have a rethink.

Correct but you see the point surely. When you ask what are the benefits of diversity hardly anyone comes up with an answer.

multiculturalism should means different groups coming together, however what actually happens is they become separated and then some demand everyone fits in with them instead of the other way round.

Multiculturalism can only work if all cultures are compatible. Those that are no compatible form ghettos which is an accurate assessment of what has happened with the Muffin culture in the UK

Absolutely. It's unity that holds mono-cultural societies like Amish who have their faith as the unifying factor and the immigrants from around the world who built the multi-cultural USA did so & successfully because they were united in believing in the American Dream.
