I hate to tell you all , but the US is pretty much a socialist country already. Less than 20 % of the population pays all the bills. Look it up , fact. Sort of socialistic oligarch mash up.

But neither does the deceptive economics of the current capitalism. We shouldn't have to be going from one extreme to the other. People want to believe that an economy belongs to them, and is built for them. Throw religion in there, and you have a Sheeple farm. I get this fact.

Socialism is trickle down, money slowly trickles down from the government (if you’re in a favoured group) Capitalism is trickle up, people get very rich from people choosing to spend their money on your product.

Socialism can work if applied correctly. Capitalism can work if applied correctly. Unfortunately though, in da USA, we have extreme/out-of-control capitalism where CEO's, athletes, etc make waaay too much money. i.e. Steph Curry makes more in 1 week than most ppl make in 7 years!
