Government is more than dealing with poverty. It is roads, courts, police, firemen, records of birth, property, garbage pick up, water quality, product safety.... and dont forget sewage! Without government we’d all be dumping slop jars out into the muddy paths called roads.
When poverty declines, the need for government declines, which is why expecting government to solve poverty is like expecting a tobacco company to mount an aggressive anti-smoking campaign.

Waste Pro handles garbage. Utilities Inc does water and wastewater. Skanska and Lane both do roads. Numerous corporations do ratings and safety assessments. Surveying companies that do 99% of all lot adjustments are private. American ambulance is private. Your argument is invalid

I thought that would be QUITE Clear but if you cant get it Ill explain<GOV has SPENT TRILLIONS on fighting poverty etc<now dont you think if they where honest they coudve given TRILLIONS and eradicated poverty & inequality<its a sham! Corps/NGO's & people have pocketed Trillions

Nobody expects government to solve poverty. We expect society to do it through its executive arm, the government.
