The top 3% of taxpayers in the United States pay more tax than everyone else in the country combined. Good luck finding tax cuts that don’t disproportionately affect the rich.

The top 3% sold us out and sent all of our jobs to places like China. It’s hard for the bottom 97% to pay taxes with no jobs (especially no full time jobs).

They also make more than the rest of the country 100x over. The top 1% have most of the wealth but you had to include the top 3% to get to where they pay more. The rich do not pay their fair share.

We do. They're called brackets. The only variable in brackets is your deductions and filing status.

Retrain the IRS and all the tax preparing people to build the wall or something... You people make this life way more complicated than it needs 2Bpic.twitter.com/IRq8vEJJ77

Probably because the finance system of the world's wealthiest nation is difficult, and a flat tax decreases revenue, disallowing you to have your precious wall.

I hammer this repeatedly to people I know. *All* tax cuts will benefit the rich simply because of the math involved. It's not a terrible thing.

Its very tough to benefit from tax cuts when you are part of the 43% that dont pay federal taxes.

What has changed about our society though that doesn't allow the middle class to earn/create more wealth and be the engine of our society? Globalism.

No problem. The GOP is raising taxes on high earners, above the socialist rates emplaced by Obama. The Pubs are a false brand placed on a part of the Uniparty. Trump is incoherent, only somewhat better than Hillary. We are entering later Rome.
