One of the strangest changes in the history of human thought is how tribalism and in-group preferences were fully accepted before Darwin, but almost fully rejected after Darwin actually explained them. “Diversity” went from a mortal danger to an unquestioned “strength.” Why?

If there's no proof of Darwin's "theory" of evolution, then it is all hypothesis not fact. So why teach it in schools?pic.twitter.com/0e0UiVTteH

If a society has no common culture, it can’t survive. That’s why the left pushes multiculturalism and diversity. Their goal is to destroy America.

His theory of natural selection postulated that "diversity" in genetic material promoted strength in species' genetic makeup over time whereas homogeneity made species more likely to pass on undesirable recessive traits. Diversity equals strength over time in biology..

Are you talking about inbreeding within a species versus not inbreeding? Because I genetics within a particular species, say an alligator or a blue bird, is pretty darn homogeneous. But I'm probably missing the point.

Thanks! This entire thread is a mixed bag, very diverse! Some are talking about genetics (which I find immensely interesting) while others are talking about cultural diversity. They don't necessarily go hand and hand.

Because it highlighted the innate hierarchies that exist across race and forced the losers of the spectrum to unite against the winners based on an unprecedented platform of moral superiority flying under the flag of #diversity which just means #antiwhite . #itsokaytobewhite

Maybe it's a new kind of tribalism, based not on survival it's self, but survival of ideaoligy. Even in the West we are , literally, beating people with sticks over how the other thinks. It is unfortunate we can't conquer this within us. We are sentient, are we not?

Human nature is a mix of positive and negative elements. The point isn't to change human nature, but to develop discernment which enables us to choose wisely which to embrace and which to reject.

I think people say they’re anti-tribalism lately but mean they’re anti-racism. Both concepts are poorly understood and may even overlap (and to extent they do, I agree), but imo not valid to throw out whole concept of tribalism and its benefits due to a distinct, different thing
