Gov't has abused surveillance (court-ordered & otherwise) to the point that legitimate law enforcement is suffering.

Perhaps like sealed envelopes sent through the mail might empower someone somewhere to allow criminality? It is an interesting question, for most communications, unless I am mistaken, are caught & may be opened in concert with companies upon presenting probable cause. Yes?
