The EU is going broke bc they love socialist states. They're figuring out it doesn't quite work how they hoped.

This isnt money that goes to the EU, it goes to the states in question. It is about creating a level playing field for all businesses.

I'm not a corporatist nor a socialist. Socialism and keynesian economics creates corporatism.

Wasn't the global warming initiative another money grab by the EU, when socialists run out of money they have to get it from someone.

I have a hard time believing this. They sue American and Canadian corporations constantly, for the littlest of shit. 1/2

Not Amazon's fault that the EU throws government money for state aid to the wind without double checking their work. Did it to themselves.

Nothing to do with each other, Amazon broke tax laws and has now been caught out, well done the EU in this instance.

I am fully aware of Lux and its tax haven like status, however, it seems to have breached even those tax laws against EU legislation.

& the EU sees over all of it. They knew. They allowed it to happen so they could later sue for the back taxes and slap a fine on top of it.

They were investigating it for 3 years. So it is not just knowing, it is proving it. Have they said they are putting a fine in place?
