Um, no. I paid back MY student loans. Why would that be right?

How much did you pay and when? Costs have inflated dramatically.pic.twitter.com/yY6YZILraZ

So? What else is new. I worked since I was 15. If I couldn't pay what student loans didn't, I stopped school & worked until I could.
-
It's not the same. Try paying off 26k a year with an entry level job. Take a 2 year break every couple semesters? Not a reasonable solution.

Oh, and one more thing. Welcome to the real world!

Sweetheart, I'm well aware this is the real world and nobody feels sorry for me. I'm also aware that our higher education system does a...

Let the numbskulls file for bankruptcy. It'll start their adulthood on a big lesson since they didn't pay attention to reality.
-
Bankruptcy does not forgive student loans, or any debt to the government.
-
Then they can take out a nongovt loan 2 pay it off & default on that. If 1 is stupid enough 2 spend $ they don't have, tough.

The average annual increase in college tuition from 1980-2014 grew by nearly 260% compared to the nearly 120% increase in all consumer items
-
Free Gov $ caused that, schools ate it up, and gave us
#snowflakes in return. No one made recipients sign docs, they chose to do so.

I think Trump should forgive some percent of loan to students who study for actual degrees just to trigger gender studies leftys on campus.

Is it fair for those who didn't go to an expensive college because they felt they couldn't afford it?

Something tells me that 99,999% of these students are "gender studies" majors who realized they will never be able to pay back their debts.

Screw that. Most of these people just paid to be brainwashed by leftwing professors, maybe if they were actually contributing to society....
