Dr. Raphael Kellman believes autism and thyroid disease are closely related. His study showed that 75 percent of children with autism have undiagnosed thyroid problems often due to unreliable blood tests.

There is new research relating autism to brain inflammation, presumably at some important developmental point. We have introduced thousands of new chemicals into our environment, many of which interact with our bodies as hormones. It will take 30 years to begin sorting it out.
