Great question, I don’t know anything definitive, but I would believe it has something to do with better diagnosis, and older parents – particularly fathers.https://twitter.com/aus10crispy/status/1182889170995429376 …

Dr. Raphael Kellman believes autism and thyroid disease are closely related. His study showed that 75 percent of children with autism have undiagnosed thyroid problems often due to unreliable blood tests.

Maybe it's the massive increase in coerced vaccinations for infants since 1986 — when legal liability for vaccine damage was removed for the manufacturers and sellers (one of which is the CDC itself).

New research shows autistic brains are overwhelmed with the inflammatory cytokine protein interleukin-18, and old research shows that vaccine aluminum adjuvants work by releasing interleukin-18. I have wondered the same thing. And as new homes become better insulated, perhaps too much CO2 and not enough oxygen during pregnancy.

Back in the 70s and 80s, people had a lot more houseplants. Today, it's rare. Sunlight is the huge one, though. Pregnant women need sunlight, oxygen, vitamins, and clean water. Tap water is terrible in many places.

I think sheen quickly dims when it comes to trophy kids. It's quickly back to work and emotional neglect of child; what to expect from hours alone in crib but self-involvement? When symptoms arise, it oddly becomes part of parents' identity. Victimized, they join peer groups.

I don’t know. Two of my great nephews are autistic. Their parents were in their early 20’s when they were born. Their parental grandfather was a drug user for many years and I always suspected that may have been a factor.

If it is just better diagnostic the 60% rate for boys will make no difference in the job market. Military rejected so many 18 year old volunteers last year that enlisted was short by 10000.
