Never heard of the regime that mandated heels on women and punished them for not wearing them. Sounds like the other end of the hijab spectrum.

I think this person meant heels. And high heels were originally worn by old timer butchers to keep their feet out of blood and guts on the floor. So technically women appropriated high heels from men.

Some times the company wants uniforms and Im sure back in the old days there were a few business's that required then to wear high heels. Men have foot fetishes and theres money to be made from that. Free enterprise stuff Stefan. No job to their heads would work as well as a gun.

Now fashion is oppression. If they didn't like them, why'd they buy a dozen+ pairs?

Climate change. They have to wear high heels so they don't drown. Also why they're so often paired with floatation implants.

Women were not required in social situations to wear heels; they were required to wear dress shoes. Most had at least a small heel. However, all dress shoes with heels were not stilettoes.

Even if you have a gun to your head, you still have a choice.
