Good thing America sold all those weapons to Saudi Arabia, otherwise it might not be able to defend itself! Also this will most likely provoke another terrorist attack against the US. The Saudi revolution -from above- by the U.S. supported Mohammed bin Salman, ensured that key international power figures were removed from power. Until then, Saudi Arabia had acted as a hub for all sorts of insidious activity: from pedofilia, corruption and sponsors of terror..

..All VERY international. Whether this abrupt change will result in a lasting success or failure, will have profound effects on the region and the wider world. The U.S, by propping up this frail state, in a transitional period, is very much a sound decision..

Now, another reason for them being there is ofc. to act as a deterrent for whatever state that tries to cause conflict in the region. Meaning not only Iran, but very much the Jewish state of Israel. PS: I prefer Shi’ite muslims over Sunnis. But Irans current leaders has to go..

Not so. Trump is tilting ME back toward Sunnis/Saudia (eg Turkey). Iran is already lashing out. With US backstop Saudi now suppresses all its proxy militias eg Isis, Al queda.
