      Men still have to sign up for the draft between 18-25 in the event a draft is issued. Usually this happens when they get a DL or register to vote.       And rather intelligently. If women were also included in the draft, then there's no one left to "run" the country while all the men are away. The US would have vanished overnight in WWII if women had also been drafted.

      Uh what? You need to draft fewer men if women are also drafted, so they stay home and live.

          Would it work out like that in a real scenario, though? Call it terrible logic or obsessively deep distrust...I just don't think "stay home and live" would be a concern to the government. Interesting thought, would a "weighted" lottery happen? Social experiment? Ugh I'm paranoid
