Women were never denied enlistment. Men could not vote unless they volunteered for the militia. Women were kept out of combat because in combat they cause massive loss of men's lives, and, because they would never survive as POW's.

Also note women have rejected any laws granting equal child custody to men at birth. They don't want to be equal, they want to be special.

A study was just released that found 84% of female army recruits couldn't pass basic fitness tests,which are already much less rigorous than for the men. Women do not belong in a combat setting. The enemy won't give a damn about how inclusive we are.
