How do we know the HK protestors are the good guys? Because China is an evil dictatorship that persecutes any of its citizens that don't conform to its dystopian rules. Anyone who protests such evil is a good guy by definition.

I've heard that some of the younger generation were paid to go protest, and that some were offered more money if they could hit police officers or cause other damage. Some very bad elements there purposefully causing trouble, and encouraging dangerous behaviour.

I think murder is a strong word. 'Involuntary organ liberation' of the Falun Gong and most likely the Muslim prisoners seems like a more appropriate synopsis of this Oriental outrage
