As a Canadian he most certainly did not have to do that.

Right. But if he HAD been born in the US he would have had to fill out a form. And Canada is just right close to the US. It’s a pretty close call and who are we to judge his PTSD. We didn’t go through what he imagined he might have had to go through.

Although harsh, he is correct. I served in the Navy. I enlisted. But I would’ve never been drafted. I believe men should have something to say when their child is to be aborted. They have to support the child when it’s born.
