''They will never be like the West'' You're talking in absolutist terms as if IQ is static/fixed for eternity. I'd retract that statement and rephrase it more accurately.

It's more than IQ that will keep these countries from evolving to be like the west. Conflict, tribalism, etc. I think there are certain benefits to a "tribalistic" mindset, but there's inherently more harms when you're talking about 3rd worlders maintaining that mindset.

To be fair, hundreds of years may be well enough. At least the European Jews seem to have evolved their extremely high IQ over a remarkably short period of time, due to them not being allowed in traditional, manual labour professions.

Of course that kind of external pressure was a high price to pay and many died miserably when they couldn’t support themselves. So it’s not a system any people would inflict upon itself willingly.

LOL, technically it can change ... it can always go lower. Drugs, environment, accidents, and illness can all lower it. Never heard of it going up though.

South Korean women are 8" taller than 100 years ago. You would be right based on the assumptions of natural selection but adaptation is not the same as natural selection and is far more powerful. Maximum genetic expression in response to environment.

You simplify it so much that a distorted impression of it is given. Just as an example, the Ashkenazi jews had a slightly different way to their high IQ. All of the Ashkenazi Jews alive today can trace their roots to a group of about 330 people who lived 600 to 800 years ago..
