I can't for the life of me figure out why still, with today's prevalence, selection, and affordability of birth control methods, we need to have this discussion.
Tax-funded abortions are a devil's bargain: consequence-free sexuality means never having to develop virtue - just shake your monkey ass for attention. We humans can't be animals though; we can only either be human, or inhuman.

Abortion as problematic as it is was actually the largest contributing factor to reduced crime in the past few decades. There is good scientific evidence for this as well.

Birth control is a much kinder option. Very effective if used properly. Using it properly is the key to avoiding abortions.

I think in the near future CRISPR & IVF will do away with sex for procreation. At that point, people may opt to be spayed/neutered at early age to prevent accidental pregnancies. Sex will be purely for pleasure & intimacy. End of pro life vs pro choice debate.
