I loved it
-
What did you love about it? On the fence for seeing it
-
I think people are making this complicated. I saw it and thought it was great. If you watch the trailer and it looks like something you'd want to see, you'll enjoy it. It's a satisfying homage to Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy more than it's a comic book movie.
-
Super accurate description tbh

Now I'm definitely going to see it. And probably enjoy it thoroughly.

The first negative non-SJW review I've seen.
-
Scott Adams dismissed it right out of the gate
-
Scott Adams has a policy of never watching any negative feeling or violent movies, regardless of quality. He went into this on a Periscope recently. I am a fan of Adams but can't imagine living that way.
-
I feel similarly, some of the best art explores darkness -- giving us an opportunity to deal with potential chaos in a controlled way.

#SpoilerAlert It's actually pretty good. Starts slow but it's like watching a slow motion accident. You know the ending is going to hurt like hell but you can't stop watching. When DeNiro got shot half the audience cheered! -
A truly shocking moment in the best way.

this bad? My friends convinced me to go with them tomorrow... I just wish the comic book movies would stop.
-
It's not canon. And it's worth watching
-
well, the lower my expectations going in the best my experience will be
-
That's quite the pessimistic outlook on things. idk how far you take that though. It gets better, fwiw, it just takes some work.
-
Haha, I'm a bit pessimistic, yeah. But this approach works great for movies... although it didn't do the trick when they dragged me to watch the latest godzila movie hahaha
-
I can see how it'd work well with movies. Just don't let it "spread" to other things in life. It just makes everything grey (gray?) and that's .. not a good way to view the world imho.
-
Both correct, btw. American English = grey, British English = gray. Same color (colour?)
-
I know. It was a subtle way of saying I'm aware not everybody spells it the same way. I really liked the meme with the 2 spellings "armour" "colour" etc etc ... brit asks: "what happened?" american: "we got U out " it tickled my historical funny bone
