Something everyone should do at some point in their lives. Live somewhere remote for a while. Around nature. Ideally in a cabin or trailer, without television. Just for long enough. Especially if you involve yourself in local activities helping wildlife, like birds or turtles.

Because they actually have to WORK to make a living

Diversity quotas, trendy inclusivity policies, Soy Lattes and HR mandadated "LGBT Pride" events don't get the fields ploughed. Muscle and steel get the job done.

Self-sufficiency & independence starts with food.

City folks may be book smart, but farmers are life smart... they have to be

They also live with failure while enduring massive risk from all of nature and volatile markets EVERY YEAR. They eat a lot of humble pie, but when they do well, it's awesome. GET TO KNOW YOUR FARMERS!

The only thing impossible for god is to please a farmer.

Because they have to deal with reality affecting their lives daily.

I'd also add that a good amount of time spent in the soil and the fields and learning it,brings clarity. A clearness and purpose of thought that allows further insight. My thoughts
