Also, farmers have time to think. They aren't spending their time pushing papers. Physical work allows you to use your mind to mull over all sorts of things, while your body does the work.
And if something goes wrong they have to sort it out themselves instead of blaming others and passing the problem onto somebody else. Farming is one of the hardest jobs done for ungrateful people.....
Something everyone should do at some point in their lives. Live somewhere remote for a while. Around nature. Ideally in a cabin or trailer, without television. Just for long enough. Especially if you involve yourself in local activities helping wildlife, like birds or turtles.

They also live with failure while enduring massive risk from all of nature and volatile markets EVERY YEAR. They eat a lot of humble pie, but when they do well, it's awesome. GET TO KNOW YOUR FARMERS!
The only thing impossible for god is to please a farmer.
Because they have to deal with reality affecting their lives daily.
