Had same question. Apparently plaintiffs weren’t seeking damages. Only an injunction and declarative relief. Still it’s a federal question case and likely to be appealed eventually to Supreme Court.

Juries are for criminal court only? I dunno.

It was purely a matter of law and not getting to the bottom of factual events.

Because it is civil. rather than criminal.

She will be overruled by the Supreme Court. She’s the same officious intermeddler who tried to stop Trump’s travel ban and was spanked by the higher court

There could be a jury in a civil case. this opinion was probably a result of a motion to dismiss which occurs prior to trial.
