Define abused... I got my a** beat a lot as a child,mainly because I was bad. Is that considered abused?

Well my physical abuse was helpful because I learned how to be respectful and not be a bad child. Dennis Prager said it best when he stated “if we’re born good why do we have to teach goodness”. That physical abuse taught me goodness.

I will say that there are levels to the physical abuse for no good reason. I can recall a family that abused kids for likes and videos which is horrible because it does not teach anything. Maybe my parents didn’t know how to deal with me so physical abuse was all they knew.

inconvenient how this one evolutionarily ingrained behavior is all that stands in the way of your universal, isn't it? sooo much I agree with you on...except this. pain is a part of life, and no one will restrain its lesson like a parent MOST of the time.
