People never realized they were lied to about the next ice age, acid rain, ozone, global warming. They just move on to the next one and people forget.

Some of us wake up. Not that an example can replace the rule... My father in law still thinks the world is warming.. I need to remember to ask him if that ice age in the 70s ever came before all the warming started...

I remember as a child (70’s & 80’s) being terrified by the prospect of a nuclear war. I feel no ill effects at 50. What I feared was significantly more real and immediate.

I'm not a kid, so I'm already pissed. I'm pissed about the ocean not rising, all the lies about nutrition, the way James Damore was treated for stating the obvious, the way the media makes ppl like Peterson and Trump appear, etc. All those truth benders lost my trust forever.

The whole system is biased towards publishing studies that can’t be or won’t be replicated, just for funding. The majority of “science” today doesn’t follow the scientific method, and methods of recording climate data are fallible. Educate yourself
