Relativism leads to tyranny, since without reason and evidence, force decides human conflicts. This was the subject of my Masters Thesis in the early 1990s, dealing with Hegel, Kant, Plato and Locke. Everything since then has reinforced my argument.

I would argue that force is the.core ingredient of all civilizations as state power must always be imposed and maintained. Might makes right is pretty much the common denominator of all civilizations.

That's an MA thesis? Sounds like a truism to me. Indeed this cannot help but be true because even in the case of democratic decisions it's ultimately a question of majority forcing its will on a minority.

As a guy who watches moly but hasn't read the masters thesis, as I understand it, he's saying there are 2 types of ppl: aristoteleans and Platonists. If Plato is correct, truth is only knowable to philosopher kings and civilian must be subjugated

That sounds like an especially dark Nietzschean interpretation of Plato that bears almost no connection to what the man actually said.

The necessity of reason to ground itself in universal presuppositions is an assumption that Kant, Hegel and Plato all make. The Platonic forms render all empirical observations deductions from logical models. Kantian morality is absolutely universalistic. Only Locke disagrees.
