"You come to us young people for hope." No, we don't. "We won't let you get away with it." What are you going to do, whine us to death? If you have valid, sensible solutions, offer them. But just complaining and blaming is not a solution and helps no one.

Dismantle profit driven economy.

To do that, you need a giant states worldwide, state set prices, state control of investment, end of private property,state control of products and tech. As well as impoverishing most of humanity, the power struggles would probably end in the slaughter of billions. Great plan.

This reminds me of the medieval Children's Crusades where naive, religious children were told to march and convert the pagans. Instead they were tricked by merchants and sold into slavery.

The way I see, this backfires badly on people that are trying to diminish Greta's speech. Wasn't the ozone layer saved due to global action to change the chemicals in aerosols, refrigerators etc?
