Aight let's unpack this shit. 1. What even is "the west." The land? The people? The government? Or is it a vague term that can be used by politicians to make up non-existent danger? How does divorce threaten it? How does environmentalism threaten it?
2. Every divorced person has to have a new house just for them? That's not how people work! Why don't they live at their family's house, or their friends, or just grab an apartment? Yeah SOME will grab their own new house, but it's just dishonest to say EVERYONE will.
3. You failed to establish a link between more houses and environmental damage. Not to say it doesn't exist, no no no, but I feel like you're not honest enough to acknowledge that the reasons for that link are things that environmentalists are already working against,
like the housing industry being regulated by a capitalist system where house makers don't need to consider the damages they do to the environment, house electricity being derrived from energy companies who contribute to climate change and pollution each and every day,
things that I'm fairly sure someone with your position would not feel comfortable mentioning in favor of "houses bad ergo divorce bad."
4. "Why don't environmentalists work harder to keep families together?" Well for one thing, that's a vague issue with way too many intricacies depending on the family, and also ignores the existence of mutually beneficial divorces that aren't made due to interpersonal drama.
Very destructive for the kids too. I know from personal experience
He is right we should be living in communes and sharing living spaces and let us integrate with people of all races and ideas. As well as use less resources and space to help combat global warming but idea of sharing a kitchen with a black family would be a bit to much for him

The majority of divorced people marry again. On average, they remarry just under 4 yrs after divorcing; younger adults remarry more quickly than older adults-over half remarry in less than 5 yrs. By 10 yrs after divorce 75% have remarried so 1 house again. What about singles?
Well, perhaps you can share with us the statistics for the success of second marriages
Second marriages are a post-wall woman's dreams post-mortem, after they thought they could one-up the man their younger selves got.
Of course it's a guy that looks like this making this post
