The per capita argument doesn't make sense in this case. If a ship is taking water and will sink.. does it really matter how much people are on it? Does it matter that there is more people at the front that at the back? Ins't it more important to know how much water is coming in?

why are people giving a child the stage?

Becuase we live in a generation where people idolise children and place them on a pedestal, where children are no longer 'seen and not heard' but rather seen and heard. Children should know their place and respect their elders.
