General depression has been, along with other conditions mental and otherwise, linked to the gut microbiome. Especially the gut and brain connection.

That’s just not really true. There are things wrong with psychiatric drugs, even if you can’t cope otherwise. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take them, but nor should you deny the very real risks. The things that are wrong with them don’t go away just because you really need it.

is kinda sad man, JP is all talk but when shit hits the fan he goes to the easy nihilistic way. i had to take care of my mom in her final months, my ''drug'' was try to make her happy, i kept myself ocupied, i pray for her everyday, made me a better man

JP has ALWAYS been open to medical intervention when necessary, and was only recently off of all of them when he went carnivore. He's been super open about it, and if you didn't know, that's on you.

psychiatric drugs were never meant to be the permanent fix to a person's psychosis. at best they were to be used until the root of the problem could be found. its like taking pain reliever for appendicitis.
