His profession doesnt make him immune from being a human being like everyone else. He likely thought he would be able to handle the addictive side to the drug, but he's human, we should be supporting him and wishing him a fast recovery.

Benzos aren’t always habit forming. They help a great deal for those with panic disorder. JP just made a mistake by quitting cold turkey. Your body doesn’t like the sudden change. You have to wean off if you’re taking them regularly.
