I doubt this, but love to see some statistics. I'm an atheist and have pretty strong conservative views, especially towards the multicultural ideology. Which is a view based on personal traits, according to Peterson the right/left paradigm has more to do with personality.

I guess the problem with lefty atheists is that they lack the understanding of religions, which is why they 'believe' multicultural and multireligious societies should work because they underestimate the divisive outcome of wanting to mix the religions.

I’m not so sure about that one, Kev. You’re going the route of Shapiro with tarnishing logic with overt religious dribble.

I noticed a decade ago when Hitchens was on the scene that many of the Atheists were simply aligning themselves with ANYTHING anti-western They are masochists whose primary goal is destruction of the current system. Without thinking thro the consequences

I'm at a loss here... I'm an atheist, and I lean right. I cant wrap my head around this. I've seen plenty of black guys with white girls and vice versa. I myself prefer asians. Am I missing something?

Very Interesting and complex question. It also explains, for example in greater detail how Feminists can ally with the worst of radical Islam, because of how much the 'Mountain of oppression' represents in their minds. first there is a mountain, then there is none, then there is.

Religious views and political views are not always aligned. You get liberal Christians and conservative atheists. Many in society are middle of the road w.r.t. both these topics.

Some atheists are so determined to distance themselves from religion, that they recoil from anything traditional. Which, in a sense, is illogical. Without a God, traditions would logically exist only because they are effective and compatible with human psychology.

At least for me, the hypocrisy of my elders contributed to me turning from God. The religion was always there, but it was hard to see and I chose to turn from it, cherry-picking my morals. But I discarded more value than I gained.
