Nah, with a Mantis that size and stature you have nothing to worry about. Surprisingly enough when it comes to bugs and arachnids, the males are usually the least of your worries and the females are entirely the danger.

Best example of this in the bug kingdom is mosquitos, since male mosquitos drink nectar, while female mosquitos drink blood. As for Mantises though, the males often are eaten by the females after reproduction. And this is where I say to men out there.. chill out.
