Ah the commuting of sentences of people should really not get their sentences commuted. Of all the things that should be sustainable the supply of murderers is NOT it.

I hope he'll be held responsible for their future actions. He won't be because this will be memory holed, but one can hope.

Why even bother with juries or judges if some agenda-driven politician can wipe out the sentence that was assigned with the stroke of a pen? It's an insult to every member of each of those juries.

All politics is violence by other means + the least tolerant always wins while weapons serve as force multipliers in that endeavor. Meanwhile the Right wing, and Libertarians play by Queensbury Rules, and wonder why they get figuratively stabbed to death and lynched.

Weaponizing prisoners in this way is straight out of the communist playbook of the early soviet union where they literally emptied some prisons and forced political dissidents to house murders and rapists. Putting their wives and children at risk.
