Amazon is just being smart like any company. We need to change the law, and a VAT seems the most reasonable and hardest to evade.
With a VAT they will pay tax no matter what. Even if they lost/hide money somewhere else and claimed 0 income.

Amazon dont make the tax rules, governments do. They are made complex precisely so there are loopholes. They could remedy this by making the rules simple and transparent. But they don’t.
