Education is not a good like for instance furniture , alright . And yes , traditionally unis were a place of diversity of thought. I´m a liberal but I´m a bit concerned about what has happened to that over the course of the last few years

I think all schooling should happen in practical real world settings to resolve the chasm that inevitably opens up between academics and markets/environment.

The main problem with the chasm being the pursuit and attainment of certifications for which there are no significant job oppprtunities or growth potential at the expense of ones which we have significant needs for.

And the benefit of applied learning is job readiness and industry fluency, internships should be happening in high school, not college and apprenticeships should be favored over lecture halls.
