It’s actually sad listening to audience members cheering for Democrat politicians promising them free stuff and security and healthcare and everything. All things parents are supposed to have provided. Socialism is the desperate hope that you don’t have to grieve what you lost.

The entitlement and excitement for “freebies” has to do with the false hope of the “American Dream”. Nowadays it takes two incomes to afford a comfortable normal life and even then the dollar doesn’t go as far. The dream is a trap to get these financially weak minded into debt.

Most parents priorities are skewed. Children DONT need a $1k smartphone. Parents buy their children everything and cater to ever whim (sports/hobbies) because of their internal regret for not being present enough in their lives. Kids raised entitled and lazy

In addition, the parents are usually working long hours, buying (read: taking loans on) things they can’t /shouldn’t afford in order to virtue signal their success to others. Keeping up with the jones’ and getting their own gets in the way of setting a good financial example.

Breaking up families through culture and repeated depressions creates many people who become dependant on the government.

Here in South Africa some things are already next to free........except if you earn a decent salary, then you have to pay because if your anual income. It's not free folks, we as taxpayers are paying for it while the lazy who don't pay taxes reap the rewards of my hard work.

Some free stuff really do not need to cost anything at all. The very basic "free for all if you just carry it of the premises" garage sales. I am all for giving away stuff I no longer need rather then throwing it away.

I’ll never understand why people are against social healthcare A society should be judged on how it looks after those in need and what can be more needed than healthcare that prevents you contributing to society Why should people have to choose to get treatment or pay bills?

They cheer for the candidate calling them racists, supremacists, promising to take everything from them and reduce them to third world status. Mass delusion.
